The Eight Precepts Retreats • 17.December.2006 / 21.January.2007
Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre, Alma conducted two Eight Precepts retreats which were on 17 December 2006 and 21 January 2007 led by our Resident Master, Venerable Lama Khedup Rinpoche. Both retreats started from 7 a.m. until 6.30 p.m. Participations for both retreats were good.
Programmes for both retreats were as follows:
7.00 a.m. The Eight Precepts vow ceremony (led by Lama Khedup Rinpoche and Lama)
The Eight Precepts vow and ceremony given by Ven Lama to devotees
8.00 a.m. Chenrezig Puja
9.00 a.m. Breakfast
9.30 a.m. Green Tara Puja
11.30 a.m. Lunch - The Eight Precepts meal chant and offering led by Resident master
12.00 - 2.30 p.m. Self practice
2.30 p.m. Dharma talk
3.30 p.m. Chenrezig puja
4.30 p.m. Break
5.00 p.m. Mahakala Puja
6.30 p.m. The end
All devotees that participated in both retreats were advised to keep their vow until dawn the following day.
